Alligators are a species of reptilians related to crocodiles native to the lower regions of the United States and China.

American alligators can be found in the Louisiana Bayou, and they are very territorial, becoming aggressive when they feel threatened. During the latter half of the 18th century, the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré collected alligator eggs scattered throughout the Bayou.
