This article is about the Sword of Eden used by the Writhing Dread in 5th century BCE Greece. For other uses, see Harpe of Perseus.

The Harpe of Perseus was a Sword of Eden claimed to have belonged to Perseus, the legendary founder of Mycenae and a hero in Greek mythology. It had properties similar to other Isu artifacts such as the Sword of Damokles and the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus.

This particular sword was used by the various incarnations of the Writhing Dread, a gorgon created by the Isu as part of the Olympos Project. By the Peloponnesian War, the sword was held by Ligeia, the latest individual turned into the incarnation of Medusa. After killing her, the Spartan misthios Kassandra claimed the sword for herself.[1]
