The Great World is an amusement center and palace located in Shanghai, China.
History
On April 1927, the Black Cross Albert Bolden traveled to the Great World after interrogating Master Templar Joffre about the Hop Wo Society's current address. He then ziplined down from the top of the Great World's tower into an office below which was filled with opium cases. Investigating further, he found Melville's partner hiding. However, it was a trap as Green Gang's henchmen came out of the shadows and began to shoot at Bolden.[1]
Immediately, Bolden escaped the bullets and took out some of the henchmen, only to come across the Green Gang's strongman Fiery Crow. Despite pricking Crow with a poisoned Templar pin, Bolden was incapacitated and brought to the Green Gang's leader, Du Yuesheng. After a brief confrontation between Bolden and Yuesheng, Crow finally died from the poison, giving Bolden the distraction he needed to escape captivity after acquiring the information he sought out.[2]
