The Great World is an amusement center and palace located in Shanghai, China.
History
On April 1927, the Black Cross Albert Bolden traveled to the Great World after interrogating Master Templar Joffre about the Hop Wo Society's current address. Standing atop the Great World's tower, he quickly ziplined into an office, which was filled with opium cases. Investigating further, he found Melville's partner hiding. However, it was a trap as Green Gang's henchmen came out of the shadows and began to shoot at Bolden.[1]
Immediately, Bolden escaped the bullets and took out some of the henchmen, only to come across a Green Gang strongman, Fiery Crow. Despite giving him a prick of his Templar pin, Bolden was incapacitated by Crow and brought to the Green Gang's leader, Du Yuesheng. After a brief confrontation between Bolden and Yuesheng, Crow finally died from the poison inflicted by Bolden. Bolden garnered the information he wanted and escaped the Green Gang's captivity.[2]
