The Golden Horn Island was a lake island in the middle of Lake Moeris of Faiyum in the Ptolemaic Kingdom.
In 48 BCE, the island was explored by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who, upon discovering a soldier's corpse, looted the treasures in the area.[1]
