George Monro (1700 – 3 November 1757) was a Colonel in the British Army during the Seven Years' War, and a member of the Templar Order. He rescued Shay after Shay betrayed his Brotherhood and sent to the Finnegans. Monro recognized Shay Cormac's promise in the Order and was convinced he would excel above all others, so much so that he even told the Grand Master Haytham Kenway such.
