Biography

After the disastrous campaign, George was hospitalized in April 1915 and wrote a letter describing his condition to his uncle, who served as a politician in Westminster in London, England. In his letter, George also expressed his disgust for the British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, stating he should be dismissed for the campaign and his recklessness.[1]

In 1916, the Assassin Lydia Frye recovered George's letter in the city. After the war, George accepted his uncle's offer of a post in Westminster, briefly working as a politician. He later became a prosperous businessman.[1]
