Fūma Kotarō (風魔 小太郎; died 1603) was the adopted name of the leader of the ninja Fūma clan, which served the later Hōjō clan during the Sengoku period in Japan.[1] He was the rival of the Japanese Assassin and fellow ninja Hattori Hanzō,[2] whom he killed in 1596. [citation needed]
