Fry's Island was a small island in the River Dee south of Deebury. It featured one small Anglo-Saxon farmstead. In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn and their raiding crew on her longship.[1]
