Sir Alexander Burnes (16 May 1805 – 2 November 1841), also known as Bokhara Burnes, was a Scottish traveller, explorer who took part in The Great Game, and a member of the Templar Order.
A biography of Burnes by Craig Murray is to be released 1 September 2016. It reveals in real life his brother James actually was Grand Preceptor o the Knights Templar.
