Flann Sinna (847/848 – 916) was the King of Meath from 877 and the High King of Ireland from 879 to 916.

During the 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan journeyed to Ireland and met the king to discuss the looming threat of the Druidic Children of Danu over the Christian Norse-Gaelic order.[1]
