Faustinus (unknown – 259) was the bishop of Lugdunum during the middle of the 3rd century.
In 259, Faustinus had betrayed his friend Lucius, an Assassin, by revealing information about Aquilus to his associates. Not too long afterwards, Faustinus was interrogated by Aquilus about his affiliations, until Faustinus revealed the name of his associate to be Caïus Fulvus Vultur, a member of the Templar Order.
With the Assassin surprised at this information, Faustinus took the opportunity to hit and push Aquilus, giving the former an opportunity to flee. However, this effort proved to be in vain, as Faustinus was fatally struck in the back by one of Aquilus' throwing knives.
