History
In 874, the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir and Sigurd Styrbjornsson and their ally, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq followed the paladin, Fulke, to a refuge she had with her acolyte, Paul. However upon their arrival, Paul was nowhere to be found and the Saga Stone was not in sight. Soon, Eivor found Paul's body and they all deduced that Lady Eadwyn must have found both the stone and Paul. Before they could argue about their next plans, the Vikings and their allies were caught by Lady Eadwyn and her Saxon soldiers. Outside the tower, Eivor and her party met with Eadwyn, who stated her deal to trade the stone for their ally, Geadric, death. However, Eivor could not break the promise to Geadric and started a fight instead. Despite taking care of Eadwyn's soldiers, Eivor was at odds with Sigurd and Basim, who wanted to reacquire the Saga Stone. Thus, Sigurd and Basim left together while Eivor and Fulke discussed how to plan to weaken Eadwyn's resources.[1]
Eivor ventured into the tower alone and inspected the area. She soon found a large bandit camped within the tower and incapacitated him. Looting from his personal effects, she acquired a nickel ingot. She also found a viewpoint on top of the tower.[2]
