Eleanor of Aquitaine (1122 – 1204) was the queen consort of France and later England. She was also the duchess of Aquitaine.
Her fifth son Richard by her second husband King Henry II of England succeeded Henry as king in 1189.[1]
Legacy
In October 2016, the Templar historian Simon Hathaway noted Eleanor and her marriage into House of Plantagenet as a being nigh-legendary figures who had figured into the history of Chinon.[2]
