Even though the root is latin "impolluto", Impoluto is not an Italian word, and has no meaning in italian.

the first clause was in present tense, the second in the past. This is b/c the sentence as written warranted the present tense (gameplay). Per talk page I have modified it accordingly, kept it in the past tense & fixed the grammar error.

El Impoluto

El Impoluto (English: The Pristine) was one of five legendary ships encountered by the pirate Edward Kenway in the Caribbean, during the Golden Age of Piracy. She could be found sailing in the Gulf of Mexico.

She was among the most maneuverable vessels in service to the Spanish Navy, easily outpacing smaller vessels like the Jackdaw despite its size. The ship was also unique in its construction, possessing a significantly powerful naval ram, capable of inflicting massive damage on an enemy vessel in a single blow.

El Impoluto was one of the most aggressive ships to sail the West Indies, often hunting down her enemies with powerful chaser cannons, before ramming into them from behind. After ramming, she would often turn and sail farther away before turning around and charging for another attack. Her broadside cannons were generally used only as a secondary weapon.

Despite her advantages, El Impoluto was eventually sunk by Edward Kenway's Jackdaw.
