IU, we can assume Akros Peak refers to the outcrop where the camp was located, not that the camp itself was named Akros Peak. |

Akros Peak is a rock formation in the Isolated Desert of Egypt. During the Alexandrine Civil War, Egyptian rebels established a camp beneath this outcrop.
History
Between 48 to 47 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa aided the Egyptian rebels after finding their hideout in the desert. After rescuing one of their children, Istellah, from Ptolemaic soldiers, he stole a cart and rode him and Istellah to Akros Peak. There, they reconvened with the rebels at the camp. Before he left, Bayek climbed to the top and took a view of the whole desert.[1]
