Duncan Walpole (1679 – 1715) was a member of the Assassin Order stationed in the Caribbean, during the early 18th century, who attempted to defect to the Templars. On Duncans eighteenth birthday he joined the British navy serving for three years until he became frustrated by is slow progress.He was then recruted by a fellow sailor into the assassin brotherhood.Duncan was a valuable asset to the brotherhood.However was disliked by the assassin elders for his temper and arogence In June of 1715, the Royal Navy warship carrying Walpole, the HMS Intrigue, identified and attacked a pirate brig, the Jacobite, captained by Bramah.
