Diakofti Island is a small Greek island east of the bigger Kythera Island.
During the Peloponnesian War, the island was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, who purchased a map from a merchant about a treasure on the island. Kassandra discovered the chest next to a tree, only to find it empty and came under attack by bandits.[1]
