At some point before September 2015, during a mission for the Brotherhood the two lovers were separated, but later as Christian was in difficulty, the leader of the mission, [[Xavier Chen]], kept it from Joseph to let him be focused on their objective, a choice that resulted in the death of Christian. All the other Assassins involved also died, except for Xavier and Joseph, the latter faking his death to plot his revenge on Xavier and the Brotherhood that in his mind robbed him of the love of his life.

Christian was an Assassin active in the 21st century and the lover of another Assassin, the veteran Joseph Laurier.

At some point before September 2015, during a mission for the Brotherhood the lovers were separated. At some point, Christian encountered difficulties, but the leader of the mission, Xavier Chen, kept it from Joseph in order to have Joseph fully focused on their objective, a choice that resulted in the death of Christian. All the other Assassins involved also died, save for Xavier and Joseph, the latter faking his death to plot his revenge on Xavier and the Brotherhood that in his mind robbed him of the love of his life.
