Chiang Kai-shek looks upon Yuri Dolinsky's corpse.

Chiang Kai-shek (31 October 1887 – 5 April 1975) was a Chinese political and military leader who served as the leader of the Republic of China between 1928 and 1975. Chiang was also an influential member of the Kuomintang(Chinese Nationalist Party).

In 1927, due to the difficulties of the Shanghai Rite to ease the growing tensions in China, the other Rites decided to intervene. The Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order sent the Black Cross to take care of a Templar turncoat, Yuri Dolinsky, who was leading a Russian army to fight Chiang.

Later, the young Darius Gift was sent to China by the British Rite to deliver a package to Chiang in hopes of convincing him to join the Templar Order like his predecessor Sun Yat-sen. However, Chiang betrayed the Templars, accepting their money and their help with no intention to join them, using them while planning to double-cross them with the help of Du Yuesheng and his Green Gang.
