This article is about the emissary. You may be looking for the monk at Saint Hadrian's Priory.

Cedric was a 9th century Anglo-Saxon who served as emissary to King Aelfred.

In the 870s, Cedric attempted to collect a commissioned piece from a jeweler in Wincestre, who insisted on keeping it until he got what was owed. Cedric kept rapping at the man's door, demanding the jewel until a passing Eivor Varinsdottir decided to retrieve the jewel herself.[1]

Behind the scenes

Eivor can choose to give the jewel to Cedric or keep it for herself.
