Cayo Island was a small island north of Cuba. Most of the island consisted of cliffs and trees, with a beach on one side, featuring rocks, bushes and palms.
During the early 18th century, the island was visited by the pirate Edward Kenway, who found and looted a treasure chest there.[1]
