A canoe is a lightweight, narrow boat that is pointed at both ends, open on top, and propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers.
Canoes were a common means of transport among the swampy Louisiana Bayou, and were also used to cross the cenotes in Chichen Itza.
Trivia
- Canoes were intended to be used in Assassin's Creed III, as indicated by this publicity still of Ratonhnhaké:ton rowing one. Despite this, canoes still appear in the longhouses of Kanatahséton, though they cannot be interacted with.
