Cannon Street station is a major railway terminus in central London. Opened in 1866, the station is located in the City of London, on the northern bank of the River Thames.
It is approached by the Blackfriars railway bridge from Southwark, which runs parallel with Blackfriars Bridge. The station also sits adjacent to Temple Church.
Trivia
- The in-game representation of Cannon Street station is located further up the River Thames than its real-world counterpart. It instead sits where Blackfriars station would later be built, in 1886. In gameplay the station is actually not a terminus and it is a train stop.
