Brizo was a goddess in Greek mythology, known as the protector of mariners, sailors, fishermen. She was also known as a prophet who would speak to men through prophetic dreams.[1]
On Delos, Brizo was widely worshipped to a point that Delians had at some point constructed a shrine within the settlement on Mount Kynthos. By the time of the Peloponnesian War, only ruins of the settlement remained.[2]
