The British Army was the land warfare branch of the Monarch of Great Britain's Armed Forces in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1707 with the Act of Union.

They fought against the Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Trivia

The soldiers of the British Army were called Red Coats during the American Revolution due to their wearing red coats as their uniform.
