Brendan of Clonfert (c. 484 – c. 577 CE) was a Celtic monk from Ireland.

Biography

From 530 to 537, Brendan embarked on a pilgrimage, visiting many Standing Stones across England, documenting his unknowing interactions with the Isu in messages he marked on rocks near places like Seahenge and Stonehenge. His "two and some year" journey ended in Vinland at the Tionontaté:ken Standing Stone. In his writing, Brendan made reference God's angel denying him access.[1]

Legacy

Nearly two centuries later, the Viking Eivor found and completed his puzzles.[1]
