Brasseur (unknown – 1791) was a French Assassin active during the French Revolution. He was an apprentice of Guillaume Beylier, who tasked him to find the Roi des Thunes in the Cour des Miracles, a task which two other Assassins had attempted before him. Unfortunately, Brasseur's presence was detected by the Roi des Thunes  and he was murdered. The Roi des Thunes took his pistol as a trophy and kept the corpse at hand in case it came in useful. Brasseur's disappearance was noted by his fellow Assassins, who suspected he was in trouble. This, in addition to the discovery of the Roi des Thunes' Templar affiliations, prompted the Assassin Council (Beylier among them) to assign Arno Dorian the task of locating and killing him. Arno successfully located the Roi des Thunes' hideout, but his target was forewarned of his arrival and he instead found Brasseur's corpse in the chair. Despite the ambush, Arno was able to kill the Roi des Thunes and avenge his fallen brother, reclaiming Brasseur's pistol as well. The Assassin gave it back to Beylier, but the Master Assassin authorized Arno to carry it to honor the memory of his late apprentice.

Brasseur's corpse

Brasseur (unknown – 1791) was a French Assassin active during the French Revolution. He was an apprentice of Guillaume Beylier that had been tasked find the Roi des Thunes in the Cour des Miracles.

However, Brasseur was discovered during his mission and murdered, with the Roi des Thunes taking possession of his pistol as a trophy and keeping the corpse on hand, in case it came in useful. When Arno Dorian later came after the Roi des Thunes as well, the Templar used the body of Brasseur as a distraction; despite this scheme, Arno managed to assassinate the Roi des Thunes and reclaimed his fallen brother's pistol in the process.

When he reported back to the Assassin Council, Arno gave the firearm to Beylier, but he insisted Arno carry it as a way to honor Brasseur's memory.
