The Boston Light was a lighthouse located in the Boston Frontier. It was the first lighthouse to be erected in North America.
The lighthouse was originally built so that it could assist the ships docking into the Boston Harbor at nightfall. When the revolutionaries besieged Boston, they attacked and burned the building. It was repaired, but then burned down again.
Daniel Boone once told the Kanien'kehá:ka Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton that the lighthouse was supposedly haunted. Climbing to the top of the tower, Connor discovered the ghost was merely a scarecrow.
When the British Army left Boston Harbor in 1776, they blew up the entire lighthouse. A new lighthouse was built in 1783, and it still stands today.
