The Boar Piercer was a spear used in the 5th century BCE Makedonia, Greece. Especially made for hunting wild boars, the spear was able to cut through their thick hides, despite its simplicity.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra hunted deer and wild boars in the forests of Makedonia with Natakas, the son of the Persian Darius. During the day, she found the spear.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Boar Piercer, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's DLC Legacy of the First Blade: Hunted, shares the same model as the commonly found Crude Spear, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Flint Spear, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
