The Gothic Hood was a hood adorned with torn passages of the Book of Revelation on the pauldrons.

During the Viking expansion into England, the hood was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2020.[1]
