Enkidu surveys the Badaraya Sands Camp

The Badaraya Sands Camp was a bandit camp that was situated in eastern part of the wilderness that surrounded Baghdad in the 9th century.

History

In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq accepted a contract to investigate the abduction of a scholar by a group of bandits. Enacted by fellow Hidden One and scholar Abu Jafar Muhammad ibn Musa, Basim followed the note and made his way to the camp and spotted the scholar wounded. Following the mission's requirements, he made his way to rescue him without killing any bandits. Outside the camp, Basim succeeded in saving the scholar.[1]
