A black market dealer

A black market dealer is an individual who illegally sells weapons or components of weapons via a black market. Because of the prohibited nature of higher grade weapons, clandestine organizations such as the Templars and Assassins sometimes relied on these arms traffickers for their equipment.[1]

Black market dealers were prominent during the 16th century in the cities of Constantinople and Derinkuyu, where they supplied Ottoman Assassins, as well as the Italian Assassins' Mentor Ezio Auditore, with ingredients for their bombs.[1]
