The Athenian Portico is a portico within the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.
History[edit | edit source]
Constructed by the Athenians against the polygonal wall that supported the terrace of the Temple of Apollo, the portico was used mostly for displaying spoils of war.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the display was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
