User:Master Sima Yi/Dates in Cluster 7

Some time ago I was replaying some of the Clusters in Brotherhood when I noticed a series of numbers being mentioned at the start of Cluster 7. I curiously went to look up if they were dates that had any relevance to the AC universe, and some indeed do. I'm not sure if they are actually important or not, but I just thought I'd share it and maybe have you guys theorize or dig up some more info on what they may mean.

• Jesus is crucified in Golgotha by the Templars.

• Basiliscus, Roman usurper, is deposed and Zeno is restored as emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire). Romulus Augustus, Roman usurper of the Western Roman Empire, is deposed by Odoacer at Ravenna. Though these events aren't explicitly mentioned anywhere, it's obvious they have some relevance in the Assassin-Templar war.

• Joan of Arc is burned at the stake by the Templars. The Templars Rodrigo Borgia and Vlad the Impaler are born.

• The Night of Sorrows, Suleiman I becomes Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Martin Luther revolts against the Catholic church.

• The American Revolution is happening, the Illuminati are founded.

• The American Civil War is happening, Abraham Lincoln becomes President of the United States.

• World War I starts.

1929

• Can't really find anything with relevance to AC.

1939

• World War II starts.

1945

• World War II ends

1950

• Can't really find anything with relevance to AC, aside from several minor things related to the Cold War.

1955

• Vietnam War starts.

1962

• Can't really find anything with relevance to AC.

1990

• Can't really find anything with relevance to AC, aside from Mikhail Gorbachev becoming President of the Soviet Union.

1994

• Er, Nelson Mandela becomes the first President of South Africa?

1995

• Can't really find anything with relevance to AC.

2001

• George W. Bush becomes President of the United States, 9/11, the Great Purge is most likely still happening.

For most of the later dates I can't really find much with relevance to the series, mostly because it's still unexplored. Maybe somebody else can find interesting events for those dates, or we will see them in later entries in the franchise.
