As far as we know, these insignias (except Qulan Gal's ofc) could have been invented by the Monteriggioni Assassins.

Seems unlikely, why would the Monteriggioni Assassins go through the effort of inventing different variants of the Assassin insignia and then put them on the statues?
There's no reason to assume that the statues are anything other than accurate.
