Assassin Interception was a virtual representation of one of Shay Cormac's genetic memories stored in the Helix, relived by a research analyst through the Animus.

Shay caught a pigeon and intercepted an assassination contract from the Assassins, targeting Franklin Greear.

- Greear: Good sir, you look like you're having a bad day too. My back aches something terrible. I was attacked by a bear and haven't been able to work in months! My stomach is rumbling almost as loudly as that bear did. Now some of my customers are complaining, and... Uh oh!

Shay found the Assassins who sought to kill Franklin Greear, and killed them in turn, saving Greear's life.
