Abstergo Chemical was a subsidary of Abstergo Industries focusing on chemical research.
In 1952, the scientist Clinton B. Rosenburg of the Chemistry Life Foundation was hired by Abstergo to observe Linus Pauling's work on DNA structure research and report his findings to the Director of Abstergo Chemical.[1] By 1962, the subsidiary had become Abstergo Pharmaceuticals.[2]
