Possible merge with Royalist? That page seems to be about all Royalists, so in History have "England" and a "France" subheading. VilkaIsBack (talk) 07:51, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

No, royalists in support of the Bourbons in the French Revolution is a different faction of people from royalists in support of the Stuarts during the English Civil War. Just like republicans in China vying for the overthrow of the Qing monarchy is a different group of people from republicans in the Thirteen Colonies vying to establish a new nation apart from the British monarchy, nor are either the same group of people as French revolutionaries. This article and the other Royalist article are not about monarchists in general and should not be. They're about factions of their respective conflicts.
