Is there a source that this is the exact same mosque? :True, although it would not be the first time that an AC game switched the places of certain locations/areas. I was teetering whether it was, too, until the mosque is talked about in Echoes of History to coincide with Mirage. To be safe, I'll include the historical fact within the BTS section.
