:The main difference between the two is that Bayek never (afair) references the ability in-world, whereas in AC:Od the player doesn't have an access to the ability unless they specifically spend an ability point to 'buy' the skill. And that's pretty OoU, imo. | |||

Sade's recent edit to add "Athena's Sight" into the lead sentence presents us with a bit of an issue. Such a name implies that it is an ability possessed by AC:OD's protagonist, whilst in AC:O it is fairly unambiguous, thanks mostly to its name, that the Animus Pulse is something Layla triggers to help her explore the simulation (as opposed to being an ability Bayek possessed). - The main difference between the two is that Bayek never (afair) references the ability in-world, whereas in AC:Od the player doesn't have an access to the ability unless they specifically spend an ability point to 'buy' the skill. And that's pretty OoU, imo.
- Fyi: redirected Athena's Sight to Animus Pulse and mentioned it in the lead because of a comment in the history of Eagle Vision, about how Athena's Sight isn't Eagle Vision but rather Animus Pulse. Sadelyrate (siniath) 11:58, February 14, 2019 (UTC)
