The contract from Mediterranean Defense that this seems to be in reference never mentions any meeting between Al-Ashraf Qansuh al Ghawri and Korkut. In fact, it describes quite the opposite, that a meeting between the ''Persians'' and the Mamluks revealed that they had planned to launch an attack on Bursa though it is unclear if Korkut is a governor of Bursa here since he was not historically. Anyways, is this line perhaps from some other source? Erroneous information[edit source]

The contract from Mediterranean Defense that this seems to be in reference never mentions any meeting between Al-Ashraf Qansuh al Ghawri and Korkut. In fact, it describes quite the opposite, that a meeting between the Persians and the Mamluks revealed that they had planned to launch an attack on Bursa though it is unclear if Korkut is a governor of Bursa here since he was not historically.
