Victoria Atkin (born 1986) is an English author and actress based in Los Angeles, California. She voiced and provided the motion capture for Evie Frye, one of the main protagonists of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Atkin pursued studies to nurture her passion for acting from an early age. After finishing her master's degree at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama in London, she was cast as Jasmine Costello, a transgender character that preferred to go by the name Jason, in the British soap opera Hollyoaks.[1]

Jason was the first transgender character to be a series regular on British television. Atkin also visited Downing Street and met with Prime Minister David Cameron, as well as working with Channel 4 executives, to sign a memorandum of understanding to accurately portray transgender people in the media. She stayed on the show for a year, leaving in 2011.[1][2]

Atkin relocated to the United States in early 2013 and documented her experiences as an English actress in Los Angeles, which were later bundled into a book titled My First Pilot Season. Within a few months, she was cast in The Girl's Guide to Depravity as Camilla Jones.[1]

In August 2014, she auditioned for the role of Evie Frye; Victoria originally did a Northern accent, before the developers decided they wanted a London accent for the character.[3] Atkin also published her first novel, titled London Love, in early 2015.[1]
