The Tomb of Alkathous was a tomb-shrine believed to house Alkathous, the son of king Pelops. It was located within the city of Megara in Megaris, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the tomb's outermost areas were used by the Megarians as archives. Despite this, the Spartan misthios Kassandra ventured deeper through a false wall, exploring the tomb, finding valuables and deciphering an ancient stele.[1]
