Til-Tuba Bow

The Til-Tuba Bow was a bow of Assyrian origin. Assyrian foot archers used it to great effect during the Battle of Ulai against Elam in 653 BCE, seizing a decisive victory.[1][2]

By 48 BCE, the Til-Tuba Bow had made its way to Egypt where it was widely sold in its markets. Certain inferior models were advertised as the Walls of Sand instead.[1]
