―Siobhan realizing her mistake regarding Jot Soora, 2013.[src]

Siobhan Dhami (1990s – 2013) was a member of the Indian Brotherhood of Assassins and an employee at MysoreTech. Skilled in the use of technology, she was tasked with locating the Koh-i-Noor diamond, an Isu artifact.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Search for the Koh-i-Noor[edit | edit source]

Siobhan and her brother Jasdip were born into an Assassin family. While Jasdip had an affection for motorcycles and dreamed of being a superstar, Siobhan was far more interested in computers and technology. Together, the two siblings worked to locate the Koh-i-Noor, which had been stolen and hidden by the Assassin Arbaaz Mir in the 1800s.[1]

In 2013, MysoreTech was enlisted by Abstergo Industries to distribute the Animus in India under the name "Brahman V.R." Around this time, Siobhan managed to get a job at the company, where she began observing Jot Soora, the test programmer responsible for designing the Brahman's user interface.[2]

Suspecting that he knew that it was more than a simple entertainment device, Siobhan visited him in his office one night, armed with a bottle of whiskey to loosen his lips. After some flirtation on her part, Jot revealed that he had discovered he was the descendant of an Assassin that had lived during the Sikh Empire through the device.[2]

Convinced she had found the person that could lead her to the Koh-i-Noor, Siobhan later attempted to contact Jot again, though her calls were ignored, forcing her, along with Jasdip, to follow Jot to Mumbai, where he intended to visit his fiancée Monima Das. Siobhan tried talking him into coming with her, but he resisted and prepared to call his boss Ajay Rana about her theft of the Brahman, leading her to threaten him with her Hidden Blade. The Dhami siblings subsequently took Jot to an abandoned building that they used as a safehouse.[2]

Death[edit | edit source]

As Siobhan set up the Brahman, Jasdip grilled Jot regarding the location of the Koh-i-Noor diamond, which the Templars were also searching India for. The siblings then placed him in the device to explore his genetic memories, but Siobhan eventually discovered that he had lied about his heritage; Jot's bloodline possessed no connection to that of Arbaaz Mir.[2]

Soon after, the Assassins and Jot were discovered by an Abstergo strike force, with Siobhan being shot in the head during their raid. After eliminating the first wave of attackers, Jasdip cut one of her fingers for the Brotherhood's DNA database and, once on the rooftop, remotely triggered Siobhan's Hidden Blade to explode, deterring the other Abstergo soldiers.[2] The blast severely damaged Siobhan's remains, ensuring Abstergo could not collect any genetic information from her body.[3]

Legacy[edit | edit source]

Following the loss of his sister, Jasdip became disillusioned with the Assassins' cause, believing that the Brotherhood drawing Jot, a civilian, into their conflict with the Templars was to blame for Siobhan's death.[4] By 2017, Jasdip had defected to the Instruments of the First Will and sought revenge on the Master Templar Juhani Otso Berg, whose agents had killed Siobhan.[5]

When he finally came face-to-face with Berg in Geneva, Switzerland, Jasdip reminded him of how his strike team had murdered his sister, but ultimately spared the Templar's life as Juno had further plans for him. However, he still took the opportunity to severely injure Berg by throwing him off a balcony, despite his claims that the past was meaningless and that he now followed Juno's will.[5]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Siobhan is an Irish name ultimately derived from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan), meaning "Yahweh is gracious".
  • Although Siobhan was shown to possess a Hidden Blade, she was reportedly unskilled in its use, due to her expertise being more technological in nature.
