The Arctic Ocean is an ocean located north of the continents of Europe, Asia, and North America. Partly covered by sea ice throughout the year, the Arctic is the smallest and shallowest of the world's five major ocean divisons.
During the Golden Age of Piracy, the French pirate Alonzo Batilla sailed to the Arctic to hunt a legendary white whale. With the assistance of the Inuit Yakone, Batilla was able to kill it.[1]
In March 1760, the Templars Shay Cormac and Haytham Kenway travelled to the Arctic to stop the Assassins from finding and activating an Isu Temple.[2] The Arctic was also one of the many bodies of water where the Seven Years' War occurred between the British and French navies and their allies.[3]
