Rhuabon Village

Rhuabon Village was an Anglo-Saxon village build along the River Dee southwest of the local monastery. It was protected by a few soldiers.

In the 9th century, the village was raided multiple times by Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and their raiding crew on his longship.[1]
