The Obsidian Axe was a large, makeshift axe fashioned from a slab of obsidian and a wooden hilt.
History[edit | edit source]
The Assassin Aveline de Grandpré purchased the axe during the 18th century in New Orleans.[1]
Around the same time in the West Indies, the pirate Alonzo Batilla also procured an obsidian axe, but of Maya origins.[2]
