Mission 3 was an altered representation of a fragmented genetic memory.
Description[edit | edit source]
Having learned of Armilia Guardato's involvement in the weapon theft, Claudia Auditore seeks out a stronghold in the hills beneath Mount Vesuvius.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
- Claudia Auditore: Piero told us the outlaws who stole our cargo have a stronghold in the hills below Vesuvius.
- Assassin 1: If we find it, maybe we will find this Armilia Guardato who has been siding with Templars, opposing the Brotherhood, and tyrannizing the city.
- Claudia Auditore: And stealing from my family!
- Assassin 2: We will need to watch out for the one called Il Bruto that Piero warned us about. He might be the Guardatos' catspaw, but he will pose a greater imminent threat.
- Assassin 3: Caution in general is likely best.
They made their way to the hills.
- Assassin 2: It would seem that Il Bruto's stronghold is up ahead. They are not yet aware of our presence. Now is the perfect time to strike!
- Claudia Auditore: Agreed, but let's remain vigilant. The mercenary Il Bruto is known for his reputation on the battlefield.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Claudia and her allies, having found the stronghold, prepare to infiltrate it.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Although this mission appears in the game unnamed, data exists in the files that title it as "The Hills Have Bandits", a reference to the 1977 film, The Hills Have Eyes.
